Public Relations Exercise are fucking deaded

We've come to an end.

We want to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE who have helped us in any way, shape or form! There's too many to mention and we'd hate to forget someone, so if you think you've had some involvement or some good craic with us.... then it's you that we're talking about and we think you deserve a pat on the back.

It's been a blast! But in the end we just couldn't get enough of a spark back into it to justify going full tilt again. But at least we can say "We Never Made A Bad Album". And, strangely, it was the release of the album that put us on this downward spiral. Things just didn't seem to go "right" since.

But, seriously, we're glad we're ending things on a high. And not released something we're not happy with and then fizzling out like shit scented bath bomb.

There's no great secret to why we've ended things, but if it matters to you enough then just ask anyone of us and I'm sure you'll get an explanation. Simplified, "Life" happened and it was just necessary for us to break up as Public Relations Exercise was a noise equation made by the 5 of us, and it wouldn't be "Us" if that equation was altered.

Our Friends CUNT! RAG! Got CANCELLED!

Like a bad hollywood film our protaganist's plan were dished at the last minute!
No DeathOfLondon/CuntRag show on SUNDAY 4th @ the Criterion.

Sadly, you'll have to wait a wee while longer for anything new from us. All planned shows have been canceled and anything written since "Chair Maid..." is scrapped.

We've placed ourselves in the fridge, sealed in a container (holes for air, obvies!) burrowed down deep in between tissue paper & straw, with an additional layer of polystyrene chips to soak up our refuse over the coming month(s).

We're spending the next month getting drunk together whilst enduring musical starvation. Then hibernation can begin, starvation is needed.... as any unprocessed matter will turn bad and produce illness.

And then we're reconnecting our pipes and our pumps, imagine Scrapheap Challenge but with Musical waste from Muscle Cars and Vulcan Bombers. Lloyd is Lisa Rodgers, Tiernan is Kryton Llewellyn, Spencer is the crazy clock contraption that counts down the time, Danny is the Expert who's a specialist in the field that that weeks "vehicle" is themed upon and Martin is the crappy drawings they show explaining the propulsion of the various shitty crap they make.

We've started a five-piece vocal harmony group called ManDate

Our friends Cunt Rag....

Our very good friends Cunt Rag will be playing their debut show this Friday, so come down and give them a healthy dose of your ears. They're 1st on so get in there early, doors are 7.30

There will be Break-dancing style dance-offs, impromptu guest vocals from just about anybody how dare venture on stage and much more.

Plus there will be 4 other bands playing, who are all excellent and all good friends too, so it's gonna be a hoot!

Yo back up now...

I don't know if anyone has noticed but we've not played a show since touring with our hetro life partners '...and so i watch you from a far'. This has been deliberate, it's not as if we've just been sat at home twiddling our cocks - no, we've been 'hard at it' writing new songs which we will be performing for all to hear at on May 9th. To celebrate our return to the 'da seeen' maybeshewill have decided to release an album, isn't that kind of them?

The show is a release party and should by all accounts be brilliant. If you're not familiar with maybeshewill and like artists such as 65daysofstatic, yndi halda and russian circles then have a listen. We urge you.

Confirmation of venue to follow, the show will however be in Leicester somewhere as it's where we all live.

Well well

Our website has been pretty static for a while, so I thought i'd 'jazz' things up a bit by creating a blog. So now anything some one tells me to 'shut up and put it in my fucking blog (you cunt)' I now can.

How knows what will emerge on our new site over the coming months? How can say? Well, us. And it'll probably just be embedded you tube clips of face plants - we're ok with that.

Right, as it goes. We're writing a lot and things are going well. Will update soon. Promise.
